Food Trips

Saturday, November 28, 2015
Hello everyone! I'm finally a teen! And even if it's already late November here in Manila, the weather still feels like Summer (*crying*), tell me in the comments below, how's the weather like in your country? So we recently had short breaks and which I spent watching chick flicks, oh well. HAHAHAH. But not only that- I always went on tons of road trips (where I obviously ate a lot) Anyways, since I couldn't really find anything to write about as of now- I bring you a blog post filled with my favourite topic- FOOD!

Over the course of my series of food trips- we ate at Bistro Charlemagne, Breakfast At Antonio's and Gumbo. Unfortunately, since I took these pictures quite about a month ago, I can't remember the names of the food anymore! :( Anyways, stay tuned- I'll be posting soon again!

Ask a Blogger Part 6

Sunday, November 1, 2015

Hello everyone! Happy November! I'm back with another part of my Ask a Blogger segment, for this post- the question I asked was "If you were stuck on an island, who would you bring with you and why?"

Answer: Hands down, I would bring Dr. Jane Goodall. I've admired her work with Chimpanzees since I was a little girl, and I would love to get a chance to talk with her about it and have her bestow some of her wisdom upon me. Due to the nature of her work, she is already equipped with the necessary outdoor survival skills that I lack and she seems to be very resourceful, raising our chances of actually getting off the island. From what I know, she has a cheery disposition and her constant calmness will help me to not freak out and focus on surviving.

Answer: If I was stuck on an island, I would bring my Mom with me cause I don't know what I would do without her plus she's not afraid of killing bugs/spiders and I'm sure that will come in useful on an island! haha.

Answer: If I was stuck on an island and could only bring one person, I would probably bring my dog with me. As lame as this sounds, I would have a buddy to go exploring with and a form of protection as well!

I would bring my best friend, Natalia. She is the type of person who stays positive no matter what life throws at her, and she has the ability to transfer that positivity to the people around her, so I can think of no better person to be stuck on an island with. We would probably spend every day lounging around, talking about everything under the sun (pun intended), because we do that already anyway.

Answer: If I was stuck on an island the person I would bring with me would be Andre Leon Talley.

I know in my heart of hearts (and mostly just imagination) that he is a fellow purse hoarder. What's a purse hoarder you might ask? A purse hoarder is a person who has at least 8 extra purse items with them at all times. As a travel and life style blogger, I believe in always being prepared, so if I crash land on an island with him I know that between the both of us we would have great conversation, at least a dozen magazines, and flawless SPF 50 moisturizer.

Answer: My first thought would be my family, since they have helped me realistically survive, but when I think about it, I'd bring my best friends.  They have helped me through ups and downs in life, and weirdly enough, we think of crazy ideas that may actually work.  I reckon real friends would have fun even through these situations.  However, don't always think negatively about this.  The "island" could be a single patch of land in the middle of the Pacific, or it could also be Boracay island ;)
