New Years' Resolution List

Sunday, November 30, 2014
We haven't even gone through Christmas and I'm already making this post, excited much? Haha!

The reason why I'm making this post is because I want to try to make a difference earlier, anyways, let's start with this list!

#1 Post More On My Blog
For the past months, I haven't exactly posted a lot since I had loads of schoolwork to do, but starting 2015, I will try to post twice to thrice a week!

#2 Wake Up Earlier
Every weekend, holiday or break, I always wake up at around 10 am to 11am which results to me not being able to really enjoy mornings :-( But starting 2015, I will wake up earlier!

#3 Try Out New Things
There are so much good things to do in life, so why not try them out?

#4 Be More Productive, Procrastinate Less
I procrastinate a lot, which results to me not getting work done... With 2015 coming our way, I will try to be more productive and get work done quickly!

#5 Use My Phone Less
The phone has made me talk to the people around me less, I also get easily distracted by it. This year, I promise to only use my phone when I really have to and talk to the people around me more! :-)

Comment down below the similarites of our list! <3

That's it for this post, hope you guys enjoyed!

The Christmas Tag

Sunday, November 16, 2014
Hello everyone! For this blog post, I have decided to do the Christmas tag which I have gotten the questions from here. Lets get started!

1. What is your favourite Christmas Movie/s?

I don't particularly have any favorite Christmas movie, I know, that's pretty sad :(

2. Do you open your presents on Christmas Eve or Christmas morning?

Well, sometimes, when my classmates and friends give me Christmas gifts, I open them immediately... Even if it's only the start of November or something...
(I know I'm really impatient) But sometimes I open some gifts at Christmas Eve which are usually from my relatives since I go to my grandparents' house at Christmas Eve and they give the gifts by then. I open some on Christmas morning too, so I guess I open on both occassions.

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?

No, not yet, since I'm still young, who knows, I might have one in the future! Or... I just forgot, I'm REALLY forgetful!

4. Favourite festive food?

This is quite hard... I think it would either be ham or cake.

5. Favourite Christmas gift?

I love all of my gifts! :-)

6. Favourite Christmas scent?

I really like the scent of pinecone and lime, which is the scent of my Yankee candle, which I burn almost all the time.

7. Do you have any Christmas Eve traditions?

Whenever it's Christmas Eve, at around 10 o'clock I leave my house to go to my grandparents' house to wait for Christmas Day, while we wait, we eat... a lot.

8. What tops your tree?

A shiny star!

9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?

Um... Probably like a really big bouncy house or a gigantic slide in my room... Hahaha!

10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?

Everything! I even wrote a whole blog post just for it, which you can view!

So that's all, hope you enjoyed and felt all  christmassy ;-)

Q & A With Sophia

Saturday, November 15, 2014
Hello everyone! Today we'll do a Q & A with Sophia! Her answers are absolutely adorable, inspirational and hilarious. Thanks for answering my questions, Sophia! Hope to see you next time! xx

Questions;
1. What do you usually like to do when you're bored?

2. What do you do when you're sad?

3. What do you do when you're happy?

4. Do you believe in the saying YOLO?

5. What is your comfort food?

6. If you are a student, answer letter A, if you already graduated please answer letter B.

a.) Would you rather have tons of homework all crammed in one week and get the school year over with, or would you rather only have 1 homework per week but have a longer school year?

b.) Would you rather have tons of work due by the end of the day and get a big raise, or have less amount of work due by the end of the day also but have a smaller amount of raise?

7. What are your top places to go to?

8. What is the most amazing thing you have done in your lifetime?

9. Would you rather live forever or die within the week?

10. What was your best experience ever?

Answers;
1) I would probably be looking at the ceiling, humming songs over and over again or thinking about my future (um what)

2) I would write a lot and forget about it.

3) When I'm happy, I laugh. A lot. For thirty minutes.

4) YOLO… hmm, what can I say? Well I don't exactly believe in it because we all only die once. But applying "YOLO", it's like making a bucketlist out of pure evil just to die.

5) TURON! Omg I LOVE this so frikin much.

6) 1 piece of homework per week. Even if it would take a longer time, I would be less stressed. Apparently if everything would be crammed, my hair would fall off and I won't learn anything (headaches)

7) I don't go to much places but my favorite destination would be in Cebu, Bohol. I GET TO SEE TARSIERS, MAN! And since I don't travel much, I would LOVE to go to England. I may be pure Filipino but I am an Anglophile as well *cough* Harry Potter *cough*

8) Amazing thing I've done? Hike inside a cave when I was eight. Full of enchanted things in there, by the way. Haha #ImSoBrave

9) Oh wow. If I were to live forever, I would probably be bored of this world so I will make numerous experiments and be awesome. *flips hair* If I were to live in one week, I will apply YOLO in my life. I have my bucketlist!

10) Oh! I was invited to a premier of "The Croods", front row seats. Then, I won the raffle (YEAH, GOT PRIZES HAHA) held. OOH! There's more! I got interviewed on the channel, "etc" and got shown on tv! (Oops, went out of my limits, I'm not allowed to be shown on tv, says my school)

Enjoying Nature

Sunday, November 9, 2014
Hello everyone! For this post, I'l be adding lots of pictures from nature! Sometimes, we should just stop and smell the roses, or just simply look at it, haha enjoy!

For the last picture, those were my feet and yeah, I have tiny ones! Some of these pics were contributed by Marie Entao.

Miniature Christmas Trees with Marie

Hello everyone! Happy Sunday! Today, we are going to have a special post with Marie Entao about "Miniature Christmas Trees" She makes some and I figured maybe I could ask her some questions about it!

But first, here's picture to show you how they look like:

Alright, question time! :)

How long does it usually take to make one of these miniature christmas trees?

Marie's answer: At first it took two hours to make because it was hard to put the ornaments and even harder to design the star because I don't think it's possible to make one that's like 1cm... After a while it took only 15 mins + painting time and drying time (10 mins, I use acrylic paint)

What motivated you to make these?

Marie's answer: I found the mini trees in a plastic bag and I got inspired to make a few.

What are the materials you use?

Marie's answer: I use Hobbico Evergreen trees (Missions of California), rubber bands, paint and a bunch of other stuff.

Where can we get these?

Marie's answer: I'm not planning to sell them, but you can buy the paint and trees at Michael's (I bought them from there last year but I'm not sure if they still have it available), and rubber bands.

Are you planning to make business out of this? If so, when?

Marie's answer: Maybe if I get discovered but as of now, it's just a hobby.

Marie gave me a miniature christmas tree with the cookie, so thank you! :-)

Hope to see you next time! xo, ky

New World Hotel Makati + Update

Sunday, November 2, 2014
Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted lately! Huhu, but hey, I'm back from the dead now! :-)

So let me give you an update on how my sem break's gone by, I had one unproductive sem break. I only went to the malls on weekends. For Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, I had to study on those days (sadly, we had assignments and quizzes) BUT! I also got to watch Gossip Girl so yay! For wednesday, it was fun, I went to a friend's house. On Friday, instead of going trick or treating, I went somewhere else and picked up my new glasses. Yesterday, I went to my grandparent's house for a couple of hours to eat lunch. Afterwards, we went to New World Hotel Makati, which brings me to the second part of this blog post.

I didn't take much pictures but I had really relaxing and fun stay. Also, I forgot to photograph the hotel room (huhu)

Anyway, here is a photo of the lobby.

This is what I had for dinner in the hotel room, club sandwich! It was dee-lish!

My mom had the salad, which she says was pretty good too.

After dinner, I watched some more gossip girl then I went to bed. When I woke up, it was my birthday! (Which is today, November 2nd) I went to the breakfast place, then we went up afterwards to pack our bags and check out. Overall, it was a great stay!

Hope you enjoyed this post!
